The EANS is pleased to introduce
a new track within its Research Fund aimed at supporting young neurosurgeons from countries with developing research infrastructures. To promote research training and strengthen collaboration across Europe,
up to four grants of €15,000 will be awarded to support a minimum of
six-month research visits to experienced centres. Clinical, laboratory and translational neurosurgical research projects are eligible.
This initiative is designed primarily for
neurosurgical trainees and junior consultants under 40 years of age who are training or practising in countries included in the European Commission’s WIDERA programme (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine).
Applicants must be individual EANS members, and the host institution must be located within an EANS National Member Society.
