SeENS Thessaloniki 2019

Dear Colleagues of the Hellenic Neurosurgical Society (HNS) and the Southeast Europe Neurosurgery Society (SeENS),

in order to deliver in our patients, the best quality of care, a certain level of proficiency and competence needs not only to be attained but also maintained. The 33rd HNS Annual Congress & 4th SeENS Congress is coming to serve these two targets: bringing new knowledge and tuning management based on current guidelines, experience and innovation.

The scientific program planned for the youngsters but also the senior members of our societies is focused on common clinical problems and the need of expansion of the field borders. It is recognized that the only way to advance Neurosurgery is through the collaboration with our allied professions and the judicious implementation of technological advances. Rehabilitation, Craniofacial reconstruction, Stroke management and the tangible benefits of Neuro-ICU are some of the offered round tables. As every year our residents and young specialists will enjoy the dedicated Young Neurosurgeon Session and the early morning sessions spotlighting the skull base and cranio-cervical junction. This year we are extremely honored from the presence of our EANS partners and the colleagues from the prestigious Burdenco Neurological Institute in Moscow.

The selected venue, ideally located at the waterfront of the city center, is combining high standard congress facilities and a pleasant environment for our breaks. The exhibition area will bring all major companies of the region and will give the opportunity to strengthen our collaboration with industry. Finally, the social program will be flavored by the authentic Greek hospitality.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to actively participate in this unique scientific event gathering Neurosurgeons from Southeast Europe and the Russian Federation in the cosmopolitan and multicultural city of Thessaloniki. We look forwards hosting you in Thessaloniki for human relations strengthening and advancing Neurosurgery.
